If you want fresh hearty meals waiting when you check in to your accommodation, look no further.
We can stock your fridge for a couple of days or a week.

 

Our winter menu offers home made, delicious hearty comfort food that’s easily prepared in your holiday accommodation kitchen, ready & waiting for you at the end of a long day of walking or exploring.

 If there's something you'd like us to prepare that's not on this list, please let us know and we'd be happy to make it for you.

Stews:

Portion size approximately 1l
 

  • Mexican style chicken with chipotle, potatoes & corn

  • ​Hearty beef and barley 

  • Lamb & chic pea with harissa

  • Seafood / fish pie with mashed potato topping.
    (V) Chic pea and zucchini with roasted butternut squash and spices 

  • (V) Brown rice with quinoa, roasted garlic and roasted butternut squash & mushrooms with spinach, garden fresh herbs

  • Meatballs… Italian style  beef and pork blend (or turkey if preferred) with parmesan cheese, garlic, fresh herbs in a chunky tomato sauce with pasta or Mexican style meatballs with rice in a chipotle tomato sauce

  • Shepard's pie or cottage pie, topped with mashed potatoes and served with seasonal vegetables

  • Beef red curry with jasmine rice

  • Chicken green curry w jasmine rice

  • (V) Rice & Beans (black beans cooked with onions and spices over white rice or quinoa rice) 
     

  • (V) Vegetarian curry or chilli with brown or white rice ( made as mild or spicy as you like it) 

  • Sausage & mash, home made gravy, fresh veg ( gourmet butcher made flavoured sausages) root veg or potato mash

  • Slow cooked pork with apples, carrots, peas and light cream sauce

  • Smashed new potatoes with chive butter

  • Rice: Brown or white, Jasmine or Basmati  $6

  • Corn on the cob with butter and parmesan

  • Braised broccolini or broccoli with garlic & lemon

  • Roasted cauliflower florets

  • Butter & honey glazed carrots and parsnips (vegan option available)

Soups:

Portion size: 1litre
 

  • Chunky winter veg with grains and seasonal vegetables ( vegan)

  • Lentil soup, brown and green lentils, vegetables and fresh herbs ( vegan)

  • Chicken and vegetable soup, roasted chicken pieces, chunky vegetables

  • Chicken, ginger and barley, a hearty warming soup of roasted chicken, tomato, barley and fresh ginger served with fresh lemon

  • Potato and leek

  • Chicken noodle

  • Beef and barley with vegetables

  • (Pureed) roasted pumpkin/sweet potato and carrot with coriander

  • (Pureed) Mushroom & roasted garlic

 

Pastas:

Portion size approximately 1l

Pasta choices: Linguini, Spaghetti, Penne, Bowties, Spirals

 

  • Lasagne: classic beef with a rich tomato sauce and blend of cheeses, or (V) roasted vegetable lasagne  

  • Pesto pasta, home made pesto with your choice of pastas, served as it comes or topped with sun-dried tomatoes, grilled chicken, salmon or grilled mushrooms.

  • Classic chunky tomato & fresh basil sauce, choice of pasta with a home made basil chunky tomato sauce with fresh mozzarella  

  • Marinara: Classic chunky tomato with a mix of fresh & smoked seafoods cooked in garlic & white wine (H&E)

  • Choice of pasta, Cream of mushroom sauce with shaved parmesan, with or without grilled chicken or mushroom

  • Choice of pasta,with eggplant, zucchini & fennel Sausage with black olives, fresh oregano & Parmesan 

  • Spaghetti (or your choice of pasta) & meatballs, a classic featuring beef (or turkey) meatballs in a rich red wine tomato sauce with shaved parmesan 

  • Ravioli / other filled pastas (any type of filling any type of sauce)  

  • Linguini or fettuccini with parma ham, truffle oil, roasted garlic, black olives & fresh herbs

  • (V) Choice of pasta,with fresh garlic, spinach leaves, basil & lemon, chillis & capers topped with fresh buffalo Mozzarella
